Conference Details and Requirements to Earn TCHs

On August 4, 2020, NEWWA’s Board of Directors held a meeting where the 2020 Annual Conference was discussed. Due to the increasing COVID-19 cases across the country, travel restrictions extended by employers, and in the best interest of attendees’ health and safety, the board voted unanimously to convert NEWWA’s Annual Conference to a fully virtual format with events and sessions taking place on September 21, 22, and 23, 2020. 

With the removal of the in-person component of the Annual Conference, pricing for the virtual conference has been adjusted. New rates are as follows:

Early bird registration on or before August 28, 2020: $195 members/$295 nonmembers

Standard pricing after August 28, 2020: $220 members/$320 nonmembers

Registration includes access to the live-streamed opening general session, technical sessions (for up to 6 TCH credits), panel discussion (for 1 TCH credit), virtual exhibit hall, pre-recorded awards presentation, virtual Water for People Silent Auction, presidential gavel passing, and fun networking opportunities. The conference will remain live for 30 days post-event and will be hosted in the Map Dynamics platform and all live streaming will be conducted via Zoom. The link to the online conference will be distributed to all virtual registrants the week before the conference. (PLEASE REGISTER NO LATER THAN SEPTEMBER 17 TO ENSURE YOU RECEIVE THE CREDENTIALS TO ACCESS THE CONFERENCE.)

PLEASE NOTE THAT TCH CREDIT IS ONLY APPROVED FOR THOSE WHO ATTEND THE LIVE-STREAMED TECHNICAL SESSIONS. Those who view the recorded technical sessions after the conference  will not qualify for TCH credit. This is per all New England state licensing boards.  Attendees will be screened in the waiting room before being allowed to view a technical session online. If you are not registered for the conference you will not gain entry into the technical session.

NEWWA's Cancellation Policy and Registering for the Conference:
Register online with a credit card or complete the registration form above and return with payment information by scanning to ktodesco@newwa.org, faxing to 508.893.9898, or mailing to NEWWA, 125 Hopping Brook Road, Holliston, MA 01746-1471. Please register by September 17 to ensure you receive credentials to the conference. No refunds will be given after September 11, 2020.
