Decreasing municipal budgets, increasing regulatory requirements, and more frequent extreme storms leave small water systems struggling to find viable solutions to address their needs. Sometimes, the best solution may be to pursue some type of collaboration with neighboring municipalities and other water systems.

This interactive workshop will:
– Set the framework for collaborative resiliency planning
– Present real world examples of actions that result in mutual benefits
– Engage participants in useful and dynamic exercises
– Offer tools and resources for implementing resiliency planning in a
collaborative way

Who Should Attend: Water utility operators, municipal and regional staff, and decision makers who work on water topics such as: DPW staff, finance directors, city councilors, planners, sustainability directors, and emergency management staff.
