Course Title: Drinking Water Operators Exam Review Classes - Course D: Treatment Grade IIT

Course Description
This course will help you prepare for the Grade T2 exam. The T2 exam will allow entry into the field as a treatment plant operator of a more complex water treatment facility. Topics include: basic math, basic chemistry, disinfection, ion exchange, fluoridation, laboratory tests, aeration, taste and odor control, iron and manganese removal, regulations, operation and maintenance of pumps and motors, coagulation, flocculation, clarification, filtration, softening, stabilization and carbon absorption. The texts were specifically selected for these review courses. They have been tailored to meet the needs of the student and are focused to address the new examination and operator certification grade structure. Treatment courses will use "Water Treatment Plant Operation Vol. 1, 6th ed." (CA State University, Sacramento), "Water Treatment Plant Operation Vol. 2, 5th ed." (CA State University, Sacramento), "Operator Certification Study Guide" (ABC/AWWA).

If you contact NEWWA within one business day you will be charged 100% of the original course registration fee. This charge is non-refundable and non-transferable. Written refund/credit request made for special circumstances will be considered if received within two weeks from the start date of this program. Credit issues are valid for six months from the date of this program.
