Primary Purpose:
Reporting to the General Manager and working with senior managers, this position will investigate, plan, organize and take action to develop new and maintain existing accounts. Will be responsible for the entire sales cycle with the established ability to develop and maintain business relationships throughout the New England Region in the water and wastewater treatment industries.
Qualifications:
In addition to a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Engineering or the environmental sciences, the successful candidate will possess 5+ years of business development/marketing experience in a medium size company that currently provides drinking water and wastewater operations and management services. Must have a proven history of being able to cultivate new business, analyze the market for growth, define potential market share and develop data to prepare, update, and manage forecasts for projected new-business and proposal activity.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills are essential, with past business experience that demonstrates the talent and skill to coordinate a high level of diverse activity under a wide variety of conditions.
