Job Description :
SUMMARY: Responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of the municipal water treatment and pumping systems. LEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY: Works under the supervision of the Water Superintendent. Performs duties independently using his/her own best judgement and experience. Has additional responsibility for scheduling, inventory and regulatory reporting. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: MA DEP Grade 3 Water Treatment Operator's License. Must have 4 years experience as an operator in a water treatment facility. Must be able to perform tasks in varying weather conditions, be willing to work overtime hours, and be available for weekend and holiday work as needed.
