EXAMPLES OF DUTIES: Inspect and perform skilled maintenance work in the construction, operation, maintenance and repair of the Town’s water and sewer pumping stations; operates, repairs and maintains pumps, wells, booster pumps, and sewer pump stations related to the collection system maintains equipment, including mechanical and electrical controls, gauges, and hand tools to maintain utility systems; Perform general maintenance, main repairs, clean and/or change meters, replace boxes and covers, operate system valves, notify customers for shutdowns, flush mains, collect water samples, operate well, operate water treatment and purification equipment, periodic operation and inspection of auxiliary engines, inspect, maintain, repair and conduct flow tests; maintain documents and records and investigate and resolve complaints, complete necessary paperwork and enter data into excell spread sheet. |
