NEWWA Pipe Tapping Competition
NEWWA’s Innovations Committee is excited to announce the 2025 New England Water Works Association Pipe Tapping Competition happening at the 2025 Spring Conference & Exhibition at the Worcester DCU Center! This will be happening on Wednesday, April 2, in the exhibit hall during lunch.
Here’s how it works: Teams of two will compete to tap a pipe as fast as possible using the Romac BToo machine– it’s fast-paced and hands-on! Any NEWWA member can participate, with priority given to teams representing each New England state, followed by first-come, first-served registration.
The winning team will take home a $100 gift card per person, second place gets $75 per person, and third place will earn $50 per person, plus credits for NEWWA’s online store. Plus the winning team will receive the NEWWA Pipe Tapping Champion belt!
