About the Corrosion Control Committee

To study and report on areas related to corrosion control through water treatment and to make recommendations to the Board of Directors on products, practices, legislation, and research concerning corrosion control.

NEWWA's Corrosion Committee has created a survey to help water systems in New England find analogous systems that may be used as a case study in their evaluation of optimum corrosion control for compliance with the LCRR. Utility staff are invited to complete the survey by clicking the button below.

Please note that survey results shall be used for informational purposes only and should not be regarded as professional engineering advice or used for regulatory compliance. Changes in water quality and treatment should always be reviewed and approved by the applicable State regulatory agency and licensed water quality/treatment professional.
