About the Filtration Committee

The committee's mission is to study and report on the current and emerging technology relating to water filtration. The group looks to identify topics where training is needed and assist in the development of materials and programs to meet that need.

Filtration Committee activities include:

  • Coordination of the annual Water Quality Symposium, typically held in May. The committee members choose a theme for each symposium and solicit abstracts and a keynote speaker.

  • Developing and presenting workshops such as the Filter Surveillance Workshop.

The committee meets every few months in person and over conference call, meeting more frequently as needed when events are coming up. Ready to learn more? Contact Filtration Committee staff liaison Don Bunker.
